The 4 inch corner protector, plastic is a great way to save your load. Not only are they easy to stack and store, but are fairly inexpensive. The protectors have a high arched elbow at the top and bottom to keep your winch strap from sliding off the protector. The edges are also slotted so you can slide your strap inside over the outside corner and back in through the slot on the opposite leg of the protector.
